Laina Walker, Dance Instructor

(12 Years Dancing)

Laina started dancing when she was 4, and her first routine was a tap song to “Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”. Laina is entering her 12th year of dancing and beginning her 2nd official year as a teacher. Laina loves to see her students do well on routines that may be challenging for them.

Laina is entering her sophomore year at Marian Catholic High School. In Marian, Laina is in Concert Band and Choir. She plays the Alto Saxophone and is an Alto in Choir. When she’s not dancing, Laina loves to be with her friends and to be outside. She loves camping with her family, and hitting the trails.

After High School, Laina plans to attend college and is interested in either Marine Biology or a career with animals. Laina is currently a member of two senior dance teams, our tap team “The Entertainers” as well as our Jazz team “Revolution”.
